The 12-Week Family Business Continuity Formation Journey™ equips founders with the awareness, character, purpose, and stewardship mindset required to build enterprises that endure across generations.
Program Purpose
To equip founders and aspiring family business leaders with the awareness, character, values, and stewardship mindset necessary to intentionally build family enterprises capable of sustaining continuity across generations.
The Pre-Requisite
Week 1 – Awareness: The Beginning of Wisdom
Learning Objective
Develop an understanding of why awareness is the foundation of wise stewardship and how awareness shapes every decision, relationship, and leadership responsibility throughout life.
Week 2 – Awareness of Self
Learning Objective
Increase self-awareness by identifying personal strengths, character, limitations, motivations, values, and areas for growth that influence stewardship and leadership.
Week 3 – Awareness of Others
Learning Objective
Develop greater awareness of family members, business partners, employees, and future generations to strengthen relationships, communication, trust, and mutual understanding.
Week 4 – Situational Awareness
Learning Objective
Strengthen the ability to recognize opportunities, risks, patterns, changing circumstances, and the broader factors that influence sound stewardship decisions.
Formation Phase
Week 5 – Formation of Identity
Learning Objective
Establish a clear stewardship identity rooted in purpose, responsibility, and service rather than position, achievement, or personal success.
Week 6 – Formation of Character
Learning Objective
Develop the character qualities essential for trusted stewardship, including integrity, humility, discipline, faithfulness, wisdom, accountability, and sound judgment.
Week 7– Formation of Purpose

Clarify personal, family, and enterprise purpose while understanding how purposeful stewardship guides long-term decision-making and continuity.
Week 8 – Formation of Values
Learning Objective
Define the enduring values and guiding principles that shape family culture, leadership behavior, wealth stewardship, and multigenerational continuity.
Week 9 – Formation of Family Stewardship
Learning Objective
Understand the family's role as the first institution of stewardship and explore how intentional family formation strengthens unity, responsibility, and continuity across generations.
Week 10 – Formation of Enterprise Stewardship
Learning Objective
Recognize the distinction between building a business and building a family enterprise, while understanding the founder's responsibility to prepare both the family and the enterprise for long-term continuity.
Week 11 – Stewardship Commitment & Readiness
Learning Objective
Evaluate personal growth throughout the Formation Journey, establish a lifelong stewardship commitment, and assess readiness to advance into the Family Business Continuity Cultivation Journey™.
Week 12- Awareness Integration & Demonstration
Learning Objective
Participants will demonstrate how their growth in self-awareness, spiritual awareness, awareness of others, and situational awareness has established the personal foundation for wise stewardship, stronger relationships, purposeful leadership, and intentional decision-making.
Through reflection and practical application, participants will provide evidence of their readiness to advance into the Family Business Continuity Cultivation Journey™.
